How do I apply for a Lithuania Business Visa?

Online applications for business permits are required. The submission must be made offline at the Embassy of the Republic of Lithuania, New Delhi, or any of the VACs across India. Before you begin the application, make sure you check whether you are allowed to travel to the country for business purposes. Then, you can proceed to get all the necessary documents. The following is how you can make a request:

  • Visit the Embassy of the Republic of Lithuania website and complete the online application.
  • Complete the application form. The Schengen business visa application form is identical to the rest. The only thing you will need to do is mention the purpose of your visit as "business".
  • Send the application online. Take a copy of the completed form.
  • Book an appointment at the Embassy of the Republic of Lithuania located in New Delhi. This can be done online through the VAC or the Embassy.
  • Bring the required documents and completed application forms to the appointment center. Here you will also need to submit your biometrics.
  • You don't have to submit your biometrics again if you submitted them for a Schengen VIS (Visa Information System), in the last 5 years. You must provide authentic documents and information. Fake documents or false information could result in your application being rejected. Rejection of your visa is a serious problem that can impact your future travel plans.

These are the conditions that you need to meet in order to be eligible for this type of permit. You cannot apply if you aren't eligible. Then, you can apply for the category that you are eligible for.

  • A valid passport-
  • It should have at least two blank pages.
  • Passports older than 10 years are prohibited.
  • It must be valid for at most 6 months after the date of travel.
  • If you have an old passport, please attach it.
  • A covering letter from your company
  • It should contain the basic information and source of funds.
  • It should clearly indicate the purpose and duration.
  • It must be printed on company letterhead.
  • It should be addressed at the Embassy of Lithuania.
  • An invitation letter from the Lithuanian company or organization describing the visit and granting entry tickets for trade fairs, conferences, etc.
  • A letter of invitation from the Migration Department of Lithuania allows you to temporarily stay in Lithuania. Documents confirming the purpose of your planned visit, such as itinerary created by a travel agency, bookings for hotels, flight reservations, etc.
  • Coverage for medical travel insurance up to 30000 euros
  • Documentation proving occupation
