Documents required to get approval for an employment visa
- The original passport must not expire after 6 months starting from the date the applicant traveled from Ireland. These must be provided if the applicant has any other passports.
- Two photographs of the applicant, 35X45mm in size, with a white background and matte finish. The applicant should have 70-80% of his face visible in the photograph. Both photographs should be signed by the applicant. Photographs should not be older than 6 months.
- Signed visa application form. It should include all contact information of the applicant. The form should include the following information:
- The purpose of the applicant's trip to Ireland.
- Stay duration
- Information about family members currently living in Ireland or the EU.
- A declaration that the applicant will comply with the rules and will leave the country when his or her visa expires.
- Also, the applicant must provide evidence that he/she has obligations to return to their home country once their Irish employment visa expires. These could include property the applicant may have in their native country or relatives who are currently living in Ireland.
- Documents for overseas or medical travel insurance.
- The details of any refusals to visa applicants in the past must be provided. The visa candidate must also provide the original refusal letter for the visa.
- A valid employment permit issued by the Department for Enterprise, trade, and employment must also be provided.
- The letter of appointment from a company that will employ the applicant in Ireland.
- The police department will issue a certificate of clearance.
