Henry Cavill TEASES more "things to come" as he announces Superman return following his Black Adam cameo

Since Comic-Con in the spring of this year, DCEU fans have been hoping for Henry Cavill's return to the role of Superman and, primarily, an update in the series Man of Steel. If the fan-generated chant was anything else, Dwayne Johnson who recently made his DCEU debut in Black Adam also teased Cavill as the "Superman of our time" and supported Cavill's return to his DCEU franchise.
To everyone's delight, A scene from the middle of the credits during Black Adam teased the return of Henry Cavill. On his Instagram account, the actor posted an exclusive video that addressed the significance of his Black Adam cameo and what it could mean in terms of his role's DCEU future. In the video, as well as in a posting, Henry said, "I wanted to declare it official: I'm returning as Superman. The picture you see on this page, as well as what you witnessed on the screen in Black Adam, is just an incredibly small sample of what's to be revealed. There are lots to be thankful for and I'll cover this later However, I'd like to express my gratitude to you all in particular for your love and patience. I guarantee that you will be well-rewarded."
There has been speculation about Man of Steel 2 being worked on for a long time. Recently it was reported by The Hollywood Reporter that Warner Bros. Pictures Studio director Michael De Luca and Pam Abdy are currently seeking writers to write an upcoming Man of Steel sequel. With Cavill returning to his cape, the Black Adam mid-credits scene teases an antagonistic battle in the Man of Steel and Man in Black and the Man in Black as well as the Man of Steel, it's unclear at this point how and where the sequel to Superman's stand-alone film could follow up on.
There was speculation that Cavill was returning as Superman and the possibility that the studio was planning the script for a Man of Steel sequel with Christopher MacQuarrie possibly penning the script, the news broke. Watchmen actor Jackie Earle Hayley in a media conversation shared his thoughts declaring she believes Zack Snyder should return to be the director of the movie. "This is a task that is a must for... Snyderman!" Snyderman! wrote the actor. While Snyder's return to the screen could be difficult, considering that he's in the middle of a multi-film deal to make Rebel Moon.
It appears that fans will have to wait a while for more information regarding Henry Cavill's Superman return.
