The Finland Schengen Visa application can be filed electronically. You can then print a copy.

You will need your passport and copies of any previous visas that are valid for at most 3 months after the return date. At least two blank pages must be included in your passport.

Copy of the reservation for your return flight. If the visa is required, it is not recommended that you purchase your ticket before applying for the visa.

Confirmation of minimum 30,000 EUR coverage in Finland and the whole Schengen region.

  • Invitation letter with the address and phone number of a family member- if relevant
  • Statement from the bank for the past 6 months
  • Passport copies

Finland Visa for Business Purposes

  • Invitation letter from Finnish company to which you will be traveling and their address, together with dates
  • Your employer will issue a certificate confirming/allowing you to travel for business purposes
  • If the companies had trade relations in the past, the evidence must be presented to prove such events
  • Statement of business bank accounts for the last 6 months
  • Memorandum and Article of Association in original certified copy (registered with joint-stock companies) Trade License (first issued and present renewal), Proprietorship/Partnership documents.
  • Concerning expenses incurred by the applicant during their stay in Schengen, either the employer (or the partner company) must indicate the amount of the expenses on the invitation.

  • Take a photo of your valid visa to your final destination

Finland Visa for Children Under-Age:

  • Documentation proving proof of regular income from parents (work contract with a specified monthly income, a bank statement, or business license).
  • Parental travel consent (notarized travel permission)
  • If one parent is a resident of another country, their notarized parental consent for travel must be signed.
