The trailer for the first season of Ant-Man as well as The Wasp: Quantumania has come out and provides the first look at the MCU's villainous version, Kang the Conqueror played by Jonathan Majors and more. Paul Rudd returns as Scott Lang along with Michael Douglas, Michelle Pfeiffer, and the actress Evangeline Lilly. The film will concentrate on the adventures of Ant-Man's quantum world.
This sequel Ant-Man The Wasp and The Wasp becomes a family affair with Scott Lang (Paul Rudd), Hope Van Dyne (Evangeline Lilly), Hank Pym (Michael Douglas), Janet Van Dyne (Michelle Pfeiffer) together with Cassie Lang (Kathryn Newton) become entangled in the Quantum Realm and encounter bizarre new creatures that they've never before encountered. Quantumania is crucial to the MCU's future, especially since it kicks off the fifth phase and brings Jonathan Majors Kang into the main action after the appearance of his character Loki.
Kang the Conqueror who is played by Jonathan Majors steps up from being a TV villain in Loki to become the MCU's biggest villain in the film, which is expected to prepare for larger things in the future as it's connected with Avengers: The Kang Dynasty. Ant-Man 3 writer Jeff Loveness has been tapped for the Avengers film as well, which means there might be some Easter eggs to be found in Quantumania on its own. In the movie's trailer Majors, Kang is shown dressed in a blue suit while the actor asks "So what's going to be Ant-Man?" to Paul Rudd.
The trailer also shows an image of the character Bill Murray who makes his MCU debut. Rumors suggest that Murray will play Krylar, the fictional character in the comics called Skylar. In a short glimpse in the movie, trailer Murray appears to be wearing blue with gold accents on his shoulders and collar. According to the story's comics Krylar shares ties with his own Micro-Verse and that's why Murray will play a role in this story.
In the spring of this year, an image at Ant-Man 3 was first showcased at Comic-Con where the director Peyton Reed told Entertainment Weekly" We wanted to make a dramatic right and create an action film that was more dramatic, yet still continue to tell the story of the family dynamics and the saga among Scott as well as Hope as well as Cassie."
