According to reports, Angelina Jolie was the unnamed plaintiff behind the FBI lawsuit relating to Brad Pitt's allegations of assault. Variety reports that a report by Puck stated that Jolie told an FBI agent that Brad had "physically and verbally attacked" her and her children while they were on board the plane

According to the report, the FBI agent also stated that Brad took Angelina to a back seat on the plane and grabbed her shoulders, shouting, "You're f g up that family!" Angelina claimed that another altercation took place on the same flight that left her with injuries. She also claimed that Pitt had been drinking and had poured beer on her. All allegations were denied by the actor's team

According to reports, the special agent who was investigating the incident met with the U.S. assistant attorney and decided not to pursue criminal charges. Jolie reportedly filed an anonymous lawsuit against the FBI to get documents related to Brad's federal investigation.

Jolie, who was referred to as Jane Doe, filed suit against the bureau in April to request documents regarding an investigation into Pitt. This was alleged to determine why no criminal charges against Pitt were brought against her after the 2016 flight incident that led to her split.

Page Six reports that a source close to Pitt said that copies of all reports related to the incident were sent to all parties. She added, "Angelina, and her team, have been trying desperately to find something." All this is for show. All of this information she had already five and a half years ago. This is all she has.
